Why design?
I design because I cannot accept monotony. I like things that have history and find beauty in irregularities. There are items that are best purchased off a shelf and others that need to be invented. Walls, ceilings, floors and windows can be translated in a million different ways. It depends on who you're asking.
What motivates you?
Drawing something on paper and seeing it come to life in tangible space is especially rewarding. I value those who are skilled at a craft and I employ their services to help me carry out my designs.
How do you work with clients?
I listen to my clients because I am inspired by their stories. All the details that make up our life experience become elements in good design. The trick is weaving those elements into a strong concept and exhibiting it in a given space.
